Ahoy Fellow Fishes! Steve here, aka DeadPhoenX, Editor-in-Chief of The Wired Fish.
Want to get featured on The Wired Fish? TWF is a geek and otaku blog catering to the needs of anime fans, gamers, and, starting July 29, fanart! But, we're looking for artists to feature. What are we looking for?
Fanart! I lean more on videogames, but anime shows, cartoons, and manga is welcome.
Artists who show great skill in what they do
Artists who create unique visions to established properties
For Digital Artists, great skill in utilizing the features given to you in Photoshop/GIMP, Corel, etc.
For Traditional Artists, going above and beyond the typical scribbles and creating something mezmerizing.
Any and all artstyles are welcome. Your pageviews or occupation don't matter. You might have only 1,000, 1 million, be freelance, or work in some game company or animation studio. All we care about is that your work is good.
Now this is important. We will only be choosing one, I repeat,
one artist to showcase for the week. Why one? Well, while it would be great to show multiple artists a week (and I may still try), it somewhat depreciates the value of being featured. Plus, it'd be better for the artist to have the spotlight to him- or herself than having to share the spotlight with someone who some readers might find better.
If you, or someone you know, has art that you would like to get featured, comment below or note me. I may also choose artists on my own without warning. The chosen artist will be notified upon article posting.
