Endlessly

That’s the chorus from the Muse song “Endlessly” from their album Absolution.

Mistakes: Because of the design of the dress, her torso looks small. Grass is tooooooo simple, but there is a reason: I drew up the background all with the comp, so I couldn’t draw much, and in this case, grass blades. As for the two mountains in the back, at the base of them, I drew the wave in at the last minute, so it looks weird. Speaking of weird, Peach’s hand, the one being held, looks weird (damn...)

Alright, so you may be wondering who that guy is. No, Sigurd did not dye his hair brown. This is actually my buddy, Steve. You may know him better as . The only image reference I used was the pic of him on Peach Paradise under the staff. As for the nobleman armor, I created it from scratch, well sort of. In one of my other projects, what he is wearing would be considered Wavlian Armor (but white since it’s normally red). And no, your eyes are not bugging he has two capes.

Now with Peach, I went based on two references (I lost the links to them though). The first reference was a dress that was worn by Marie Antoinette in that movie. The other was the gold ball gown worn by Belle in Beauty and the Beast, which explains the bows at the bottom. Any similarity this dress has with the dress in Super Smash Bros. Brawl is complete coincidence since I drew this up in the beginning of August. It was recently that I decided to color it in. As for the background, I used what I learned from The Lakeside (the water) and The Land of Non-Existence (the sky) to convey what you see here. To create the night time feel in terms of lighting (I must confess), after I finished coloring in everything, I started toying with the color/brightness adjust to get the right mood down (I also did this with The Lakeside).

Well, this is the last Peach work I do ‘til December. If you excuse me, I must prepare for opening textbooks that may most likely open once and never looked at again. Peace.
