Artist's Comments

Since I'm not too concerned about mistakes here, they will not be covered. Critiques will be discouraged. However, if you have any suggestions, like a special move, a weapon upgrade, something to add to personality, A scene involving this character, anything that would benefit me and the character, I'm more than willing to hear it out.

Name: Lynsie
Age: 22
Mystic: Carascuro
Weapon: Revolver-Bayonet
Quote: “I’m amazed that you would depend on divine creatures such as the Fairies Vaigen. It not like you.”

Lynsie began working for The Rebellions at 16. It didn’t take long to gain the attention of Boss after completing a mission in an hour (employee average is a day). Boss assigned Lynsie to the High Profile Missions Dept. after 10 successful and speedy missions. It’s here that he met Geddon and Vaigen. They showed him the ropes of the dept. and they soon became good friends. These three though were very expressive about not using Fairies to fight and preferred to fight legitimately. That is, until the Fairy Ethics War began. They were constantly heckled attacked by Fairy Keepers both in and out off The Rebellions and on and off duty. When it was over, Geddon began to suffer from Post-War Paranoia and quit The Rebellions. Not too long after that, Vaigen, who was caught snooping by Boss, quit as well.

For Lynsie, he came into contact with Carascuro by chance. Lynsie was doing a mission that took surprisingly long to complete. Knowing he would have to continue the next day, he decided to camp out (renting a hotel was out of the question since all Rebellion missions are secret). Before sleeping, Lynsie had a feeling of something being around. He bluffed putting his guard down, and before you know it, a shroud tried to possess him. Lynsie used his mind to fight it back and was successful. But he wanted to make the shroud (he hates the shroud deeply), so he used his mind to trap it. The shroud was trapped in Lynsie’s shadow. The shroud presented itself as Carascuro and begged Lynsie to free him. But Lynsie had plans to use him, stating “You shroud have done nothing but harm and use the fairies ever since your kind came into existence. Now it’s time for YOU to be used.” He also threatened Carascuro with death if he ever disobeyed or attempted to possess him again.

News about Vaigen using a fairy (Lola) reached Lynsie. He wondered why Vaigen would do it, but couldn’t find him. After Vaigen killed one of the people that tried to kill him for the bounty, Lynsie felt that Vaigen had betrayed the pact that all three of them had about not using Fairies for malice. He became eager to be the next one to take up the bounty. Boss was ready to give him the contract, but under one condition: newcomer Velkatrie was to tag along as part of the “New Blood Initiative.” Lynsie was reluctant, stating “You are mixing oil and water. How the hell can I concentrate on my mission with a thoughtless buffoon wanting to charge head-first into an erupting volcano?” Velkantrie thus states, “’Cause I can.” Lynsie caved in and took up the bounty.

In battle, Lynsie uses Carascuro extensively for evasion. He uses the Revolver-Bayonet for battling. Most of his attacks are ranged and rely on chance with attacks reducing HP to 1, MP to 0, or instant KO. (I’ll link you to the original design where I explained his battles)

Interesting Artist Note: This is the second redesign of Lynsie (who is based on ~LizardGenes). In the first picture of him, he looked younger and was more outgoing. That reflected his nature we he started with The Rebellions and used to hang out with Geddon and Vaigen. For the design you see here, he now wears red and look more serious since now he work alone and is more focused than ever on his missions. I also changed his hair. This design is inspired by one of LG’s pics.

Ah, I like this. It's certainly a different look to the older design, more New Romantic than Gothic. I can believe he's older and more experienced now, by his clothes and facial expression. I love the new hair too. He's even more feminine than before, but he still looks like he could handle himself in a fight. :)

Well done!

My femininity is a subtext, not a facade.

Thank you.

:icondeadphoenx:
Thanks. Quickness, firepower, and darkness are the trickiest to take down.
